Wherever I Am, I'll Praise Him

I found myself in a precarious situation yesterday evening; an unexpected and unwelcome place. The song that made it's way through my head and out my mouth was an old chorus we sang in church. Simple, but as someone said, "Sometimes only an old song will tie it together."

Wherever I am, I'll praise Him. Whenever I can, I'll praise Him for His love surrounds me like the sea. I'll praise the name of Jesus. Lift up the name of Jesus for the name of Jesus lifted me.


Despite our circumstances or where we might end up for a moment, day or a season; our hearts are still secure in the palm of His hand.  Focus on that truth will carry us through our Paul and Silas moments with a song of peace resounding in our soul.

Been so long

It's been a wondering, wandering couple of months. Fighting illness and trying to keep on track. It's a season and I can see light at the end of the tunnel. Well, the eyes of faith can see the light at then end of the tunnel. My prayer is simply to survive the next few weeks, get caught up and thrive this next couple of trimesters. My bigger prayer is that Gracie remains resilient to the pressures I've been battling and continue to fight for the next few weeks. Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming. Just keep swimming. Or perhaps I'll say - Just keep praising, praising, praising. Just keep praising. Worship opens the windows of heaven and no darkness can withstand the flood of light.

Undone

I am undone here in Your presence. Every tear suddenly wiped away. Here in your presence. I am undone, Lord~ Help me elevate my heart above my head. Make yourself at home in my brokeness. I am undone.
