As predicted, the temps were in the high 80's/low 90's. GREAT day for the beach. On the way we stopped to pick a few apples....never realized there were soooooo many choices. Yummy! We're coming back in a couple of weeks to enjoy the entire orchard, pumpkin patch and petting zoo. Until then....here's to a sunny day at the beach!

I can do all things through Christ! Yes, I can!
In Sunday school, Gracie is learning Phillipians 4:13...I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength. Reinforcing this at home, we've had several occasions to apply this verse. I believe she's getting it...
While visiting my friends' house, Gracie picked up an umbrella and began to open it. "Grace, you can't open that umbrella in here. That's for outside when it's raining." Without hesitation she replied, "I can do all things through Christ who says I can."
It's way to early to introduce the can I versus may I lesson, so we just laughed hard and used the "Mama said no" tactic. Hee, hee~
The forecast today is SUNNY at 89 degrees! We're headed to the beach with Stephanie & Emily. Whoooo hoooo!
